Introduction

1035 Carbon Steel Rod as specified by ASTM is a low carbon alloy steel. The thermal analysis properties of this SAE 1035 carbon steel round bar meet the chemical specifications of ASTM 1035. ASTM 1035 Carbon steel flat bars are cast from properly determined heats of die casting or rolled from continuously cast steel. Grade 1035 carbon steel bars are certified by either the basic oxygen process, the electric furnace process, or the open hearth process. Steel samples such as C35 round bars are subject to certain tests under this specification. For example, deformation testing, tensile testing, and bending testing will be performed on ASTM-specified c1035 carbon steel round bars.
