904L stainless steel round bar is a super austenitic stainless steel, and its domestic grade is 00Cr20Ni25Mo4.5Cu. It has a high chromium content and sufficient nickel content, and by adding copper, the material is highly resistant to acids, especially chloride interstitial corrosion and stress corrosion chipping. In addition, 904L is a completely austenitic structure, and is insensitive to the precipitation of ferrite and α phases compared to austenitic stainless steels with a general high molybdenum content.

In terms of physical and mechanical properties, the density of 904L stainless steel rod is 8.0g/cm3, the tensile strength σb≥520Mpa, and the elongation δ≥35%. Since the carbon content of 904L is very low (0.020% max), there will be no carbide precipitation in the case of general heat treatment and welding, eliminating the danger of intergranular corrosion that occurs after general heat treatment and welding.

Application:

1. Chemical, pharmaceutical, ocean engineering and other fields: 904L stainless steel bar has excellent corrosion resistance, whether in strong acid, strong alkali, seawater or high temperature environment, can show excellent corrosion resistance. Therefore, it is widely used in the production and storage of chemical substances such as sulfuric acid, alcohol, chloride and nitric acid in acidic environments, as well as marine equipment manufacturing and diving equipment.
2. Petroleum and petrochemical equipment: Because it can withstand severe working environments such as high temperature, high pressure, and strong acids, and shows excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance, it is widely used in containers, pipelines, valves, and other components in the chemical production process.
3. Flue gas desulphurisation device of power plant: it is often used in the tower of absorption tower, flue, stall door plate, inner parts, spraying system, etc. Because of its superior corrosion resistance in high temperature, high humidity and strong acid environment, it is able to maintain the long-term stable operation of the equipment.
4. Scrubber and fan in organic acid treatment system, seawater treatment device, seawater heat exchanger, paper industry equipment, sulfuric acid, nitric acid equipment, acid production, pharmaceutical industry.
